(Rabat, le 30 novembre 2020) L’Agence Coréenne de Coopération Internationale (KOICA), en collaboration avec le Secrétariat d’État Chargé de la Formation Professionnelle et l’Institut de Formation aux Métiers de l’Industrie Automobile à Casablanca (IFMIAC), a organisé la troisième session de la Coopération Triangulaire Maroc-Corée-Afrique dans le domaine de la Formation Professionnelle. Malgré les conditions exceptionnelles de la pandémie du Covid-19, la KOICA a pu s’adapter et organiser la 3ème session de la formation qui sera effectuée à distance pour l’année 2020.
La formation se tiendra du 30 novembre jusqu’au 11 décembre 2020 avec un nombre total de 24 participants dont 17 participants de nationalité marocaine (OFPPT : 10 participants, IFMIAC : 6 participants, et 1 participant de la Département de la Formation Professionnelle-Délégation Régionale de Casablanca), 3 participants de nationalité tunisienne et 4 participants de nationalité sénégalaise.
En tant que contributeur actif dans le domaine de la formation professionnelle au Maroc, la KOICA a créé l’IFMIAC en 2013 en partenariat avec le Secrétariat d’État Chargé de la Formation Professionnelle. Outre son soutien financier pour sa construction et l’achat de ses équipements, KOICA a organisé une série de formations au profit des formateurs de l’IFMIAC en matière d’élaboration des programmes aussi bien que des pédagogies afin que l’institut puisse offrir des programmes de formation professionnelle pratiques mieux appropriés pour le Maroc. Par ailleurs, KOICA a présenté à l’IFMIAC un modèle de partenariat public-privé permettant ainsi son fonctionnement continu.
La KOICA a signé un mémorandum d’entente avec le Secrétariat d’État Chargé de la Formation Professionnelle en 2018 qui a pour objet de renforcer le rôle de l’IFMIAC, institut de formation porte-étendard dans le domaine de la formation professionnelle au secteur de l’automobile au Maroc et d’étendre ses avantages au pays de la région.
La première session de la Coopération Triangulaire dans le domaine de la formation professionnelle a été lancée en Corée ciblant les décideurs marocains représentés par des participants des secteurs public et privé de l’industrie automobile. Tandis que la deuxième session de cette formation, était axée sur le niveau politique, et destinée aux représentants du Cameroun, de la Côte d’Ivoire, du Sénégal et de la Tunisie.
Cette année, lors de la 3ème session, il a été demandé aux participants de préparer un rapport national avant de commencer la formation, dans lequel ils seront amenés à analyser les problèmes et les défis actuels de leur propre pays. Une fois la formation commencée, ils doivent élaborer un plan d’action qu’ils sont censés mettre en œuvre après la fin de la formation.
Il sied de noter que le programme de Coopération Triangulaire Maroc-Corée-Afrique a été sélectionné et publié sur l’UNOSSC « Bureau des Nations unies pour la coopération Sud-Sud » comme modèle de meilleure pratique de coopération triangulaire et sud-sud.

Morocco-Korea-Africa Triangular Cooperation in the Field of Vocational Training : Good Practices and Public-Private Partnership
(Rabat, November 30, 2020) The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), in collaboration with the Secretariat of State in charge of Vocational Training and the Institute of Training for the Automobile Industry Professions in Casablanca (IFMIAC), organized the third session of the Morocco-Korea-Africa Triangular Cooperation in the field of Vocational Training. Despite the exceptional conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, KOICA was able to adapt and organize the 3rd session of the training which will be distance learning for the year 2020.
The training will be held from November 30 to December 11, 2020 with a total number of 24 participants including 17 participants of Moroccan nationality (OFPPT: 10 participants, IFMIAC: 6 participants, and 1 participant from the Department of Vocational Training-Regional Delegation of Casablanca), 3 participants of Tunisian nationality and 4 participants of Senegalese nationality.
As an active contributor in the field of vocational training in Morocco, KOICA created IFMIAC in 2013 in partnership with the Secretariat of State in charge of Vocational Training. In addition to providing financial support for its construction and equipment purchase, KOICA has organized a series of trainings for IFMIAC trainers in curriculum development as well as pedagogy so that the institute can offer practical vocational training programs that are more appropriate for Morocco. In addition, KOICA presented IFMIAC with a public-private partnership model for its continued operation.
KOICA signed a memorandum of understanding with the Secretariat of State in charge of Vocational Training in 2018 to strengthen the role of IFMIAC, a flagship training institute in the field of vocational training for the automotive sector in Morocco and extend its benefits to the country in the region.
The first session of the Triangular Cooperation in the field of vocational training was launched in Korea targeting Moroccan decision-makers represented by participants from the public and private sectors of the automotive industry. While the second session of this training, focused on the political level, and aimed at representatives of Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal and Tunisia.
This year, during the 3rd session, participants were asked to prepare a national report before starting the training, in which they will analyze the current problems and challenges of their own country. Once the training begins, they are expected to develop an action plan that they are expected to implement after the end of the training.
It should be noted that the Morocco-Korea-Africa Triangular Cooperation program has been selected and published on the UNOSSC “United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation” as a best practice model of triangular and South-South cooperation.
